Import Regulation
Tobacco π¬
200g cigarettes; or

There are no restrictions on the import of local or foreign currencies.
Funds of more than WS$20,000 must be declared to the customs authorities.

Firearms and ammunition require a permit from theMinistry of Police.
Endangered animals, plants, and their derivative products protected under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) may require protected species permits from theMinistry of Natural Resources and Environment.
The entry of live animals is prohibited unless the Samoa Quarantine Service has issued a prior permit. Entry conditions may also include a period of 'transit' time in an approved country prior to entry into Samoa. These approved transit countries are Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
Animal products such as eggs, feathers, horns, and animal skins must be declared to Customs upon arrival.
The import of live plants is prohibited unless theSamoa Quarantine Service has issued a prior permit.
150 grams of seeds for personal use may be imported without a permit, but must be declared.
All fruit and vegetables require permits, and import may be refused.
