Import Regulation
Tobacco π¬
600 cigarettes;
100 cigarillos;
50 cigars; and
250 grams of shredded tobacco (with 200 cigarettes sheets); and
250 grams of pipe tobacco.
Currency π΅
There are no restrictions on the importation of currency into Turkey.

All narcotics and their derivatives.
Organic fertiliser used for agricultural purposes.

Homemade alcoholic beverages.
Restricted β οΈ
2 pets or 10 aquarium fish may be imported per traveller. The pets must be accompanied by a certificate of vaccination, an official veterinary certificate, and a vet passport or identification card. The pets will then be subject to inspection by a veterinarian upon arrival.
Products of animal and plant origin may be subject to veterinary inspection at the border, and may require a Certificate of Conformity.

Timber and products from the following tree and plants: walnut, mulberry, cherry, pear, plum, yew, ash, elm, lime, sweetgum, elder, cretan date palm, olive, fig, and salep.
Natural flower bulbs.

Funds of more than US$5000 or its equivalent in any other currency must be declared to the customs authorities.
The value of jewellery being exported may only exceed the value of jewellery imported if it is accompanied by a receipt showing proof of purchase in Turkey.
