200 cigarettes;
50 cigars; or
250 grams loose tobacco.
Currency π΅
The import of local currency is limited to IRR500,000.

Domestic animals and birds require a hygiene certificate from their country of origin and approval from the veterinary organisation of Iran.
Wild animals and birds require a certificate from the Iran Department of Environment.
Live fish require a permit from the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad.
Telecommunication goods require a Telecommunication and IT Ministry permit.
Plants and seeds require a permit of plant quarantine.
Medicines are allowed only for personal use. Any further amount requires a permit from the Ministry of Hygiene and payment of import duties and taxes.
